Love will prevail

 

I step back and observe as you govern your words with purpose and surety,

Your boldness has genius, while your innocence encapsulates purity,

My doubt proceeds as a traitor to my soul wanting me to unhide my passion,

Implying that my responsibility is to proclaim my addiction and not be rationed

 

The only encouraging fact is your smile on a stormy day,

You are an inspiration to my spirit and my essence when I pray.

You tranquilize my mind with your character and gradation,

While my courage intensifies with the thought of your adoration.

 

When you are around me, my senses crash and my heart stops beating,

You distract me from reality; you get my body over heating.

An enormous sense of safety emerges at the notion of your existence,

And terminates any insecurities within our realm with resistance

 

The strength of my mind increases with the contemplation of your touch.

My hallucinations of conversations with you materialize as they bring a rush,

To know that one day, in a minute, during an hour our emotions will collide,

and that love will prevail with supremacy and bring you at last, by my side.
